Way too many murders happen without anyone going to jail.
What starts as an “innocent” (if you can call it that) jewelry store robbery turns into murder, organized crime, drugs, and then platinum! Wildly unbelievable.
First of all, who is committing a crime with people that they do not know or trust? Secondly, why was Beauregard (Bug) doing all the heavy lifting and recon work on these crimes? If you gonna do all the leg work, you might as well do the crime yourself!
A random act of kindness for a young man on the side of the road and somehow, that comes back around too. Unbelievable.
Oh and since you did this one thing to some drug dealer’s store, now you have to do this big thing and bring along dumb and dumber – who again, you.do.not.know!
Good pacing of the story just so many plot holes and just a story that is not believable. There is a fire – who started it? We know but does anyone go to jail, no. The jewelry store clerk, is she okay/alive? Maybe not, but does anyone go to jail, no. Good action scenes too – you can tell that S.A Cosby likes cars.
And then, there was “struggle love” between Bug and his wife. I hated that. Either, that’s her man and she’s sticking beside him, or she’s gone. Why leave it up in the air like that? (#spoiler)
One-Word Summary: Unbelievable
