This is a book I loved, would buy or reread, and would recommend to anyone and everyone!

What makes it a 5-star read?

  • Exceptional character development – Characters are complex, relatable, and feel like real people. Their emotions, actions, and dialogue are believable and compelling.
  • Strong, engaging writing – The language is effective, the dialogue feels natural, and the author avoids unnecessary complexity.
  • A well-crafted plot – The story is well-paced, easy to follow, and keeps me hooked from start to finish.
  • Emotional impact – Whether it’s joy, heartbreak, or tension, the story and characters make me feel something deeply.

4 Stars

A book I thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend, but it lacked that extra something to make it a favorite. It kept me engaged, but a small flaw—like pacing issues, minor character inconsistencies, or slightly weaker writing—held it back from being a 5-star read.

3 Stars

This book was fine—not amazing, not terrible. It had some enjoyable moments but didn’t leave a lasting impression. I might or might not recommend or reread it, depending on the context.

2 Stars

A book that fell short in multiple ways, making it difficult to enjoy. Common issues include:

  • Little to no character development, making it hard to connect with the story.
  • A writing style that is confusing, overly wordy, or lacking necessary context.
  • An overcrowded cast or excessive points of view that make the story hard to follow.

1 Star

A book I struggled to get through—or didn’t finish at all. Whether it was poorly written, frustratingly dull, or just not for me, I wouldn’t recommend it.
